The Fit-Out Division Manager will be responsible for leading the fit-out division of the company, overseeing the delivery of fit-out projects and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing large-scale fit-out projects related to furniture, joinery work, and architectural elements within the UAE market. The Fit-Out Division Manager will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, including designers, engineers, and project managers.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fit-out division, ensuring that all projects are executed in accordance with the company’s standards, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and implement project management plans and schedules, ensuring that projects are completed within the allocated time frame and budget.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including designers, engineers, and project managers, throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project.
• Conduct site visits to ensure that work is being carried out in accordance with the project specifications and quality standards.
• Manage the procurement process for the division, including the selection of suppliers, negotiation of contracts, and management of supplier relationships related to furniture, joinery work, and architectural elements.
• Develop and manage budgets for the division, ensuring that projects are delivered within the allocated budget.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all projects related to furniture, joinery work, and architectural elements.
• Manage and mentor a team of professionals, including designers, engineers, and project managers.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the division.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to foster new business opportunities and grow the division.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the furniture, joinery work, and fit-out industry, with at least 5 years of experience in managing large-scale fit-out projects related to furniture, joinery work, and architectural elements within the UAE market.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE furniture, joinery work, and fit-out industry and regulations.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering successful fit-out projects related to furniture, joinery work, and architectural elements.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards related to furniture, joinery work, and architectural elements.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and other relevant software tools.
